Should one belief system or lack of one take priority and why. We started dating 16 years ago, and both resigned from the church earlier this year. The dots are extremely close for every LDS person, its just extremely hard to connect them. Are days like this going to be normal. Fellowship was worse and now that my doc has been an attending for 2 years, it is worse than it has ever been. He's in his second year of residency and we're talking about me leaving everything to get engaged and move up with him. And I don't mean my good friend Satan. So I came across this post and I was wondering if you ladies could give me some advice. I have a friend who identifies as bi-gendered and often feels most comfortable in femme. Ultimately there are no guarantees but I'd say it's worth a shot. I have observed in relationships among friends and family inside and outside of the church that holding a temple recommend does not guarantee a strong, happy marriage. It seems she'll expect you to become Mormon. That's what good wives do, right. My experience with non members has been so much more meaningful and caring.
